The Colorectal Cancer Association Fundraiser

For the past few months the DSS/ PEO team has been hitting the trails and racking up their mileage in preparation for the Calgary Marathon Charity Challenge. The event takes place on May 27th, and team members are running in a variety of distances, ranging from the 5k run to the full 42.2 k Marathon.

This year we are running in support of the Colorectal Cancer Association of Canada. Our goal is to fundraise $2,000, and so far we have raised over $1,300. We are well on our way to reaching our goal!

The mandate of the CCAC is to raise awareness about the prevalence and risk of colorectal cancer through educational tours, support programs and advocacy initiatives. Ever wanted to go through a stroll inside of a giant colon? Check out the CCAC website! The organization also provides resources and care for patients and families.

We are very excited to be supporting this amazing charity and we encourage you to follow the links below for more information about the CCAC and how you can register to be part of the Calgary Marathon Charity Challenge.
