Diversified Staffing Services, a leading full service staffing company within Alberta is currently seeking driven and qualified individuals to join our Office Recruitment team in Calgary. Located within the city center and reporting to the Office Division Team Lead, the successful candidate will work within a team of recruitment professionals to source and place temporary candidates within the office sector. Building upon a strong commitment to customer service, successful applicants will be responsible for building strong relationships within a defined customer base. As an Office Recruitment Specialist with Diversified Staffing Services you will work closely with a Sales team and manage the critical administrative elements of the recruitment lifecycle.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Seek out, interview, screen and qualify potential candidates for current and future placement
  • Full cycle payroll and invoicing for services rendered, including data entry of timecards, candidate and customer follow up.
  • Maintaining and developing an active territory of clients
  • Experience in growing and managing candidate pools
  • Results – driven and goal oriented attitude
  • Ability to adjust to shifting needs as they align with our ever changing recruiting requirements
  • Team oriented attitude
  • Cultivate strong relationships within your customer base
  • Collaborate with your Sales Team to develop and maintain strong relationships with your customers
  • Attend client meetings individually or with your Account Consultants to assess recruitment needs and requirements
  • Manage candidate sourcing strategies utilizing conventional recruitment tools and emerging opportunities
  • Maintain computer based recruitment tools and customer relationship database
  • Ensure corporate QSS, KPI and business process requirements are achieved
  • Ensuring all QSS requirements are met, including CRM entry, corporately defined KPI’s and business processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • 2 years of direct recruitment experience
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment collaboratively with team members or independently as required
  • Skillful in the art of communication

  • Balance a demanding work load and prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Strong problem solving, organizational and multi-tasking skills are a must
  • Comprehensive computer skills
  • Possess strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to operate with very high levels of integrity
