Diversified Staffing Services would like to thank all of our candidates, clients, and staff for helping us receive the 2013-14 Calgary Herald Reader’s Choice GOLD award for Employment Services! DSS takes pride in providing great service to clients and candidates and will continue to provide these services throughout Alberta.
We work with our communities and have provided twenty to forty scholarships per year to various post-secondary institutions. We have also set up a $500,000 annuity program with Bow Valley College for students of their choosing. Over the years, we have been the proud recipient of the following awards:
- 2001 E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year – Randy
- 2003 Bow Valley College Distinguished Citizen Award – Randy & Marilyn
- 2005 Alberta Centennial Medal Recipients – Randy & Marilyn
- 2006 Small Business Philanthropist
We at Diversified are proud to have had Randy and Marilyn Ward each receive the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal. The Diamond Jubilee Medal was created to mark the 60th anniversary of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the Throne as Queen of Canada. During the year of celebrations, 60,000 deserving Canadians are being recognized for significant contributions and achievements – a very select group to be sure.
The Diamond Jubilee Medal is a way to recognize those among us who have made a lasting contribution to the quality of life we are fortunate to enjoy as Albertans and Canadians. These recipients share the same dedication to duty and commitment to service that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has demonstrated throughout her reign. They have truly earned the thanks of their fellow Canadians for all that they have done on our behalf.
– His Honour Col. (Ret’d) the Honourable Donald S. Ethell, Alberta’s Lieutenant Governor
